ACTIVITIES:

There is plenty to do at our Breitenbush retreat besides the soaking in geothermally heated tubs, diving in the ice cold river, networking with friends and colleagues, and hiking in old growth forest. Take a look at the offerings below, and note that some require advanced sign-up.

Edgu Classes

EDGU (pronounced edge-you) is evolutionary spinal maintenance. Grounded in an open stance, the upper body is gracefully gyrated through a free flowing series of pivotal movements.  This art of rhythmic flexibility systematically exercises the central column, releases body blocks, unifies the left and right hemispheres of the body/brain and aligns the vertebrae.

Sacred Sweat Lodge (Inipi) Ceremony

This powerful and special ceremony is offered two different times during the retreat. Read more about it to see if now is the time for you to experience this deep, cleansing ritual.
Cost: $25 materials fee

Watsu (Aquatic Bodywork) Sessions:

A great opportunity to experience the deeply relaxing and restorative power of aquatic bodywork. In warm water, the body can be manipulated and stretched in ways not possible on land. Registration will be at Breitenbush, and a sign-up sheet will be available in the main lodge at the retreat.

Yoga Classes

Relax, unwind and connect with spirit in a Yoga class offered by members of the PNWSM and Breitenbush community.

Saturday Night Party

Breath of Light: Group Breathing Practice with Tanya Hughes

This gathering was all the buzz last year. Don't miss the chance to have a profoundly healing experience through the simplicity of body and breath.
